The site of a Knights Templar settlement from 1137, this ancient farmstead offers a wealth of historic buildings.

At its centre are two vast 13th century timber framed barns. An exhibition explores the building of the barns and a high platform offers stunning views into the roof.

The early Tudor walled garden has been recreated in original style with ornamental features alongside herbs used for medicines and household uses.

Tea room and gift shop open on selected days.
