Layer Marney Tower is a magnificent red brick Tudor house built to rival Hampton Court. It is the tallest Tudor gatehouse in the country with stunning views from the top of the tower. It has lovely gardens, a Mediaeval barn, rare breed farm animals and a 1½ mile circular, country walk. The church has three magnificent effigy tombs.
